The ONE Question Every Entrepreneur Should Ask Themself Daily

One habit I’ve noticed from the highest performers is that they frequently ask themselves one simple question...

“Does it move the needle?”

Why is this simple question so important?

In startups, EVERYONE is expected to do more with less.

Given that startups are typically small teams with minimal resources, with a constant, never-ending stream of to-dos, it is incredibly challenging to prioritize.

It’s easy to get caught so caught up in daily tasks that you forget to take a step back and think: does this move the needle?

Does this positively impact our product, our RGAs (revenue generating activities) or our customer experience?

Does the affect of the job outweigh the time, effort, and cost tied to its completion?

If yes, those tasks should be on the top of your to-do list.

Whether you’re the CEO or brand new team member, your decision-making process should always consider whether or not something benefits your product, your customers, or your revenue.

Everything else can wait… (and yes, there will be a never-ending list of “important” to-do’s piling up).
